I’m so over these entry titles…
Monday: I went with Cryssy and her mom, Fran, to the T-Mobile store yesterday so they could put me on their plan. (NB - My number has changed so anyone that wants it should email me and ask for it.) That was so very nice of them to do for me. Her parents are beyond nice - they’re just plain awesome!
After an awesome day out, we came back to the house and cooked dinner for her parents - Philly Cheesesteaks. They were so yum! Fran and Don really seemed to love a taste of the City and raved about them for several minutes after finishing.
After dinner, Cryssy and I went to the movies to see “You Don’t Mess With The Zohan”. I thought it was a good movie for an Adam Sandler flick, but Cryssy thought it was just OK. It was the first movie we saw together so it was special to me nevertheless.
Tuesday: Today, Cryssy had her appointment with her endocrinologist. Her mom took her and I decided at the last minute that I would stay behind to update her iMac with Leopard and any software updates necessary before we shipped it back to Indy. We had tried several days prior to get her photos and music backed up, but to no avail. The files are just too huge to transfer to the NAS via a standard broadband connection. (Which reminds me, if anyone tried to send me an email while I was gone, I did get it, however, since my iBook wasn’t fully set up on the wireless LAN at her house, I cannot send back unless it’s through .Mac in a browser. I apologize in post.)
Cryssy just texted me that she was having one last Mother/Daughter lunch together before coming back to the house. I completely understand. Part of me feels horrible for taking their daughter away, especially since Fran and Cryssy have such a close relationship. But I guess I have to be a little selfish about having the woman I love with me in Indy. Still, I can’t help but feel a little bad.
When they get back, I’ll help her take her Mac to the UPS store to ship it to Indy and take care of some other odds and ends before we go to one last family dinner tonight.
Ciao for now!
