The Classic Yuppie

Hmm…

This is an interesting experience. I’ve never blogged on a flight before. It’s about 10:35 EDT now, and I literally have no clue where we are. All I know is that around 12:16 EDT, we will touch down in Phoenix and I will be reunited with the one I love.

Staring out into the wild blue yonder, I’ve noticed that there’s a lot of farmland that have solar panels installed onto their property. I’m glad to see that America’s farmers are being environmentally savvy.

Since I haven’t flown in excess of six years, I’m being casually reminded every 5 minutes of just how sucky flying in coach really is. My back is so killing me right now and I really wish I could just stand up. The good news is that I only have 1 hour and 20 minutes until I can claim my baggage and relax my mind, body and soul.

I think I will beg Cryssy to stop at Dunkin’ Donuts (the Classic Yuppie runs on Dunkin’) after my flight gets in. I woke up at 5:30 this morning, but I didn’t have anything in the house to eat for breakfast and I absolutely refuse to pay the $7 for a meal on the plane. For the price of my round-trip ticket, you would think they could include a frakin’ free pack of crackers or something. Whatever.

Well, I’m going to try and relax a bit more, in between back spasms, before my flight lands. I will write more later, as I am going to try to post at least once per day while on my vacation in Phoenix. Perhaps pictures will be included - if you’re lucky.
